Changing The Paradigm of My Charity

Since September 2012,I've organised my near friends to make charity, something related with health care system,to help the poor's burden upon health care.So, i ask my friends to help me by means of sharing information or giving volunteering or giving donation or by managing the admins.And so, it's called "Myaw Lint Chin Moe Kaung Kin Group".
            Up to now, our group made...

1. mobile clinic-8 th time (we gave health care by history taking,physical examination,making diagnosis with the aid of blood tests,treating with free drugs, prompt referral if need).

• At 1st time, 80 patients at Shwe Thanlar Monestry
• At 2nd time,150 patients at Shwe Thanlar Monestry
• At 3rd time, 550 patients at Shwe Paw Oo Monestry
• At 4th time, 1500 children at Taw Taik Ba/Ka Monestry
• At 5th time, 500 children at Pa Nyar Myay Ba/Ka Monestry
• At 6th time, 523 children at Myit Ter War Di Monestry
• At 7th time, 223 patients at Mya Thein Tan Yeik Thar
• At 8th time, 88 patients at Mya Thein Tan Yeik Thar.

We did the free mobile clinic becuase it is the fundamental of primary health care,we assumed.

2. Hepatitis B screening and vaccination - 3rd time

• 1st time,33 monks screening- 30 monks vaccinated, 3 monks positive
• 2nd time, vaccinated to 30 monks ( 2nd dose)
• 3rd time, 116 children screening- 100 children vaccinated, 16 children positive - at Myit Ter War Di Monestry

• 1st patient - Mitral valve disease (MS,MR with AS)- now, operated, thanks of Myit Ter Shin Foundation
• 2nd patient - Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm - now, operated, thanks of Myit Ter Shin Foundation

4. Helping a HCC patient  with HBV infected

•  donate the health care cost, now- planning to do TACE at 30th street Yangon GI and Liver Center
• screening the whole family (10 persons) HBsAg, one positive and the remainder vaccinated with Engerix B.

Now, we have plan 100 children 2nd dose vaccinated at myit ter war di monestry at 24.3.13 and 50 children (or as much as , according to fund) screen and vaccinate.
After that, at 7.4.13, announce to the township and crowd, to treat 200 people at Mya Thein Tan Yeik Thar as 9th time mobile clinic.
   After all, i want to make my charity group to specify upon Hepatitis B fight. I know it's too hard as our small group,but, i want to struggle upon that fight by means of

• Health Tallk to raise the awareness of HBV,
• mass screening and mass vaccination, and HBsAb detection
• open the Hepatitis Clinic to care HBsAg (+)ve patients by Hepatologist.

The goal  is to reduce the transmission of, and morbidity and mortality caused by, hepatitis B
and to minimise the personal and social impact of hepatitis B.

It's my dream, i don't know it become true or not, but , i hope....
